Mexican Film Posters: 1950 ~ 1970s

A selection of favorites from my (limited) Mexican film poster archive. Illustration and use of typography by the Mexican posters designers was inventive especially for their stylized, air-brushing techniques to mask areas, creating hard-edged shades of color and tonality. There are numerous sites and resources on the web about these exceptional posters. An article about the book by Charles Nafus on Mexican film posters can be found here.
